unlike other search engines, doesn't differentiate between a 'standard search'
and a 'professional search', but rather it combines both areas into a single,

Contains (AND) the word / word group

By selecting this command, the term you entered into the
WHAT box is searched for. If several words were entered one
after another (combined respectively by the command contains),
e.g., Word1 Word2 Word3, etc. (6 max.), they are connected by AND -
i.e., every document is searched for that contains all of the words
that were entered.

Does not contain (NOT) the word / word group
|
With this command, all of the documents that contain the term you
entered into the adjacent box WHAT are excluded from the
search. In the HOW window, you have to select contains on
at least one line.

May contain (OR) the word / word group
|
With the command may contain the following word or term
you enter will also be included in the search. But that doesn't
mean it will be appear in the results. Every document that contains
either the word entered here or in the Includes box, or
both terms, will be searched.

Search terms for HobbySpider consist
of any combinations of letters and/or numbers, which are separated by
spaces or punctuation marks, i.e., not only the term 'model', but
also fantasy terms, such as 'Moon44'.
A search term can be
found in a text in various forms: e.g., as a synonym (picture, painting),
in the singular or plural (picture, pictures), or as a noun or an
adjective (picture, pictorial). HobbySpider also doesn't differentiate
between small and capital letters. For example, with the search
term club, HobbySpider also displays results from the search
for Model Flying Club.
Punctuation marks as well as spaces are generally interpreted by
HobbySpider as separations and ignored during the search. During the
search for red-orange, for example, HobbySpider searches for
"red" as well as "orange".
